This December we’re running a Winter Art Market at The Hub in Edinburgh. We’re now inviting artists and makers to apply for a table.

The festive weekend event will celebrate original, contemporary creative work and offers the chance to showcase and sell your work directly to the public in the heart of Edinburgh.

We welcome applications from artists working across painting, printmaking, ceramics, textiles, sculpture, jewellery, artist books, zines and other handmade contemporary work.

The market will take place at The Hub on Castlehill across the full weekend:

• Friday 11 December – Opening Night, 6pm–10pm
• Saturday 12 December – 11am–5pm
• Sunday 13 December – 11am–5pm

Tables are available for the full weekend at £200 (including VAT) and include a 6ft × 2ft trestle table. Artists keep 100% of their sales, with no commission charged by Hidden Door.

As a participating artist, you’ll be responsible for:

• Setting up and taking down your own stall
• Bringing everything you need for your display
• Processing your own sales and payments
• Staffing your stall throughout opening hours
• Looking after the security of your own work and belongings

Tables may be shared with one other artist. If you are sharing, both artists must submit separate applications.

Applications close at 5pm on Sunday 25 October 2026. Successful applicants will be notified by Monday 2 November 2026.
