Pearling is a Scottish music producer, performer and visual artist creating unique and otherworldly ethereal-pop music. Inspired by the dreamlike, hypnotic chaos of dream pop and shoegaze artists combined with her passion for experimental electronic music; Pearling builds a magical world of feminine theatrics, bubbling with twinkly synths and sincere lyricism.
In 2023 Pearling released her debut EP ‘Celestia, Deep Sea Diver’ completely independently; producing, mixing and mastering the songs in her bedroom. The EP was well received, stacking up 450,000+ streams and being nominated for the SAY ‘Sound of Young Scotland’ award.
Pearling continued to wave her wand of magic and mysticism in the Scottish electronic music scene; releasing ‘Lovelocket’ in 2024. The mixtape was described by the Skinny as ‘all at once gentle, ethereal, bold and extravagant’.
Pearling has become known for her unique take on live shows, often featuring performance artists and dancers on stage creating celestial shapes alongside Pearling’s electronic based live set – where she performs her self produced tracks with samples and effects to create an auto/visual dreamscape.’
