Invisible (Edinburgh) will be joining us on site from Thursday 16 to Saturday 18 June, offering free tours of the site and surrounding area.
The tours last an hour at the following times:
The tour will start from (and return to) the merchandise stall and will cover parts of the Old Royal High site itself but also the surrounding area (e.g. the government building and its former glory as an execution site!).
Invisible Cities is an award winning social enterprise that trains people who have been affected by homelessness to become walking tour guides of their own city. They offer walking tours of Edinburgh, Glasgow, Manchester and York with plans to expand to other cities in the UK. In 2021, they were awarded best community tour in the world by Lonely Planet for their Best in Travel List.
